John Pearson update

February 26, 2007

The site is going well now. Have had a lot of enquiries and am putting more images up soon. Have been reading an interesting book on Ashbee which contains some information about John Pearson, including an old picture of the man himself at the Guild of Handicraft.

Site is now launched!

After much agonising with bits of code, I have now got the site up on the internet. Would welcome any feedback on the site, and of course, any information people have about John Pearson to add to the site.

John Pearson gallery update

I am, I hope, on the verge of uploading some images of Pearson’s work. If you have any information or images to add to the site, please contact me. Thanks Noel

John Pearson gallery

September 20, 2006

I am trying to develop a gallery and history of John Pearson, the Arts and Crafts metalworker from around 1900. This is proving harder work than I first thought (have taken a couple of Open University courses to help me on my way). It is coming along quite nicely and I hope to be able to upload it in the New Year – once I find a host which accepts php5 and once I learn how to upload the database on the site and actually use it. The next stage is to add images. We’ll see how it goes.
